Starting strong in 2017
Tom Hello MapInfo Pro users,

I hope that everyone enjoyed the holiday season! We are kicking off January in a strong fashion with the MapInfo Pro v16.0.1 release. This is a patch release for v16.0.
As is typical, the patch fixes bugs in the software but we also have managed to add a few improvements that have been highly requested by you, our users. See below for an article with details.

The Easy Tip is all about opening an Excel file for editing and for those using the 64 bit version we show you how to add the selecting tools to the Quick Access Toolbar. There’s lots more so please have a scan below and read up on what interests you!

MapInfo Pro v15.0.1 patch release available
MapInfo Pro A patch release for MapInfo Pro v15.0 is available for download. This is for the 32 bit release. In MapInfo Pro, click on Help > Check for Updates or click here. This release fixes a number of issues in the software. Release notes, with details, are included.
MapInfo Pro v16.0.1 – more than just a patch!
64 Bit MapInfo Pro v16.0.1 is available. As usual, this patch release will fix a number of issues but we’ve also added a few enhancements (including the Layout Undo capabilities that were previewed in v16.0.).

Add Map Selecting Tools to the Quick Access Toolbar
64 Bit You may already know that the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) is customizeable. A question that has come up from a few users is how to add the selection tools (such as the Radius Select tool) to the QAT.
