snowflake OK. I do know it is summer time in Australia, South America and near the equator but please forgive as this is a global journal and I could not resist a little touch reminiscent of my hometown in New York State.

For MapInfo Professional users, December is not only holiday season but also when you can expect a patch release of the software. MI Pro v11.5.2 is scheduled for later this month. In this issue, Andrei Veselov, the MapInfo Professional Product Architect will give you a little preview of what to expect.Please remember to tell other MapInfo Professional users in your organisation about this journal. Sneak Preview! MapInfo Professional v11.5.2

TIn keeping with holiday traditions, the December patch release of MapInfo Professional will offer some new capabilities.

Read on to learn about WFS 1.1 support and our new ability to work with data from the Autodesk SQLite database.

Notice: Bing® Mapping will expire in MapInfo Professional v11.0

For those of you using the Microsoft Bing® Mapping capabilities with MapInfo Professional v11.0, please note that your access will turn off after December 31st 2012. Customers on maintenance should upgrade to MapInfo Professional v11.5. (Customers not on maintenance will need to renew their maintenance or upgrade). Finally, if you are on maintenance and wish to continue using v11.0 we will have an arrangement for you to continue using the Bing capabilities. Customers on maintenance will receive an e-mail from us with details in early December.
