July 2015 Volume 4, Issue 1
Lot’s Going On!
Tom Probert Welcome to the July issue! I did put the journal on a bit of a hiatus but it is now back with a lot of news in this issue. There is lot’s going on and this issue will get you up-to-date. Scroll down to find an overview of MapInfo Pro v15 (the 32 bit release out now) and v15.2 (the 64 bit release scheduled for late October).
In case you are wondering, version 15.0 is the successor to v12.5. We decided to skip the culturally “unlucky” numbers 13 and 14.

You will also find an introduction to MapInfo Pro Raster, our next generation raster/grid add-on for MapInfo Pro. We are currently offering an extended preview of this product.

Many of you have asked for the ability to set up your own shortcut keys in MapInfo Pro. The 64 bit release now includes a new Command Editor tool which allows you to do just that! This is featured in the “Rummaging in the Toolbox” section.

Finally, something that I think should be popular is a summary of useful links for MapInfo Pro users. This is something we can update from time to time so feel free to send in any suggestions for this.

As always, please forward this to any MapInfo Pro users who might benefit from learning more about the software.
